Nosotros is an independent feature film that blends fiction with real-life events and people. Its protagonists are not professional actors, but individuals portraying their own lives and struggles during a turbulent time in Spain’s recent history—when the country was emerging from one of its deepest economic and social crises, leaving behind a generation caught between the echoes of a vanished past and the uncertainty of an unstable future. Shot entirely in Madrid, Spain, the film’s editing and postproduction were carried out almost entirely in New York City. Nosotros was recognized with several awards and official selections, including the Jury Prize at the Madrid Film Festival and Best Screenplay at the Brooklyn Film Festival (USA), among others.
